AR360 Fault Indicators provide ultrabright flashing LED displays with 360 degrees of visibility. A distinctive "rotational" flash sequence enhances fault display location. Advanced microprocessor-based technology senses and measures load and detects faults on lightly loaded circuits with as little as 50 A of fault current. The AR360 steps up its trip threshold as the load increases to remain secure through 1200 A loads. Permanent and momentary faults are identified separately through the use of red and amber LEDs and flash patterns. The AR360 identifies momentary faults with flashing amber-colored LEDs. Permanent faults are indicated by a combination of alternating red and amber LEDs. 

AR360 Fault Indicators are quick and easy to install with one hot stick. There are no clamps to disassemble. No extra hardware is needed. With AR360 Fault Indicators, detect momentary faults before they become outages and speed restoration after permanent faults.

Applications

Overhead Fault Location—Apply AR360 or AR-OH Overhead AutoRANGERs across your entire overhead system as an economical means to reduce fault-finding time and improve reliability metrics. The AutoRANGER logic automatically selects the best trip threshold based on sampled load current and takes the guesswork out of coordinating with various protection schemes. The AR360’s bright LED display provides higher visibility fault indication, day or night.

Momentary Fault Detection—Improve system reliability by tracking down momentary faults before they become permanent outages. The AR360 and AR-OH are equipped with simple-to-interpret displays that provide distinct flash patterns for both permanent and self-clearing faults.

Distribution Circuits—Deploy the AR360 on distribution circuits up to 34.5 kV and the AR-OH on distribution circuits up to 69 kV.
